Type of Beef Used: Grass fed and finished steak (any cut)
INGREDIENTS
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon butter
1 sprig of tyme
1 sprig rosemary
1 steak of your choice 2″ thick for this recipe
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat cast iron skillet until a bead of water will immediately dance on skillet and evaporate.
Add olive oil to skillet and allow to heat momentarily.
Add steak and sear on one side for 3 minutes.
After 3 minutes turn steak and put the entire pan in an oven preheated to 425. Let cook for approximately 8 minutes or until desired level of doneness is achieved.
NOTES
For best results use high quality grass fed beef.
